I arrived from Texas looking for a job on August 1st. Once employed I began my search for an apartment. I immediately found the MYNT. Before I moved I had never heard of the term gentrification, and now I find myself involved in one of its more controversial manifestations. I will chronicle my experiences living in my shiny new building and in so doing maybe my readers, my neighbors and I will be more able to understand our connection in Bedford-Stuyvesant.
