Greetings. I'm a Metro reporter for the Times. I'm working on a story about gentrification in Bed-Stuy and was hoping to talk to the author of this blog. I couldn't find an email address. My cell phone is 202-489-9582. My email is mannyf@nytimes.com.

Thanks,
Manny

i don't know the story on that one but this phone at queens plaza had a creative bent to it as well. verizon allowed artists from "the space" to have some fun with it. it was a working payphone. maybe something similar is it work with the one you saw.
